Pediatric Urology
Serving the little ones with care
Service Description
Pediatric Urology deals with problems of the genitourinary system in children. The genitourinary system is made up of the Kidneys, ureter (tubes that run between the kidney and the bladder), the Bladder, and the Urethra (pee tube), as well as the genitalia in boys and girls. Based on the ailment, the body organs of kids affected by the genitourinary system are treated with either non-surgical or surgical procedures. Hypospadias is a condition that occurs congenitally and this requires surgical treatment. Ureteric implantation is the repositioning of the ureter in the correct position in the bladder wall. Usually, these conditions are diagnosed with the help of urine analysis, pyelogram, CT or ultrasound of the kidney, and cystography. We provide a complete assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for: Neurogenic bladder Undescended testis Inguinal hernia and hydrocele Vesicoureteral reflux Urinary tract infection Bedwetting or Enuresis Vesicoureteral Reflux We believe that a child requires more care and compassion than an adult, and we strive to make sure that children with a variety of genital, urinary tract, bladder, and kidney issues receive the best diagnosis and treatment possible.
